How renters and hosts agree to TeslaFleet booking texts.

Renters

When a renter books a car on a host’s TeslaFleet booking page (app.teslafleet.com/driver/book), the last step shows an optional checkbox under their mobile number. It starts unticked, and the booking goes through whether or not it is ticked. This is what the renter sees:

The TeslaFleet booking page: mobile number field and an unticked checkbox reading: Text me about this booking (confirmations, reminders and payment notices) from QA Fleet via TeslaFleet. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of booking. With Terms and Privacy policy links below.

Screenshot of the booking page. “QA Fleet” is replaced with the name of the host the renter is booking with.

We text a renter only if they ticked the box. The wording they agreed to and the time they agreed are stored with the booking.

Hosts

A host who wants booking alerts adds their own mobile number in the TeslaFleet dashboard, next to this notice: “By adding a number you agree to receive automated booking texts from TeslaFleet. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
