Terms and conditions
The terms for using TeslaFleet, including our text message program.
TeslaFleet is operated by Hyperlink Labs, LLC (“we”). It lets car owners and fleets (“hosts”) rent and share their cars with drivers and renters. By using the TeslaFleet website, dashboard or apps you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.
Using TeslaFleet
- You must be at least 18 and, to drive, hold a valid driving licence. Hosts may require an ID check and a card on file before a booking is confirmed.
- A rental is an agreement between you and the host. The host sets the price, deposit, extension and cancellation rules, and the rental agreement you sign when booking.
- Charges you authorise (rent, deposits, extensions, charging, tolls, fees) are processed by Stripe. A service fee may be added and is always shown before you pay.
- If a balance stays unpaid, the host’s policy may stop the car from starting until it is paid, including by turning on Tesla PIN to Drive. It never stops a car that is being driven.
- Do not misuse the service, share access to a car you were not given, or try to get around payment or security features.
SMS terms
Program. TeslaFleet booking notifications, sent by TeslaFleet (operated by Hyperlink Labs, LLC) on behalf of the host you book with.
How you join. Tick the optional text message box when you book a car, or, as a host, add your mobile number in the dashboard. Consent is not a condition of booking or of any purchase.
What we send. Messages about your own bookings only: request received, approval, confirmation and pickup instructions, pickup and return reminders, extension and payment notices, notices that a car is locked or unlocked for non-payment, and rental ended or deposit released. Hosts get alerts about new requests, extension requests and cancellations. No marketing messages.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with your bookings, typically a few messages per rental. We do not text between 9pm and 8am local time.
Cost. Msg & data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply START to join again.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email support@teslafleet.com.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. See our Privacy policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Liability
TeslaFleet is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the condition, use or availability of any host’s car. TeslaFleet is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.
